Hi Dave - Thanks for playing "Karen Silkwood" on the show. So cool to be on the same playlist as the Sex Pistols, Richard Hell & Nirvana!
Looking forward to the Velvet Underground show, can I put in a request for James' version of "Sunday Morning" or maybe even the Joy Division cover of "Sister Ray"?

Not necessarily a VU request, but did you know that Beck released a full cover album of 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' last year?

I also have The Smashing Pumpkins doing a live radio session where they cover "Venus In Furs."

I did know that Beck covered all of Velvet Underground & Nico, I think i've played Sunday Morning on my show previously, but that is the only song I have heard.

I have not heard the Smashing Pumpkins cover and am interested in that.
